Benefits of Lavender
Aromatherapy by Lavender Love
What is an Essential Oil? Peel an orange, walk through a rose garden or rub a sprig of lavender between your fingers, and you are instantly aware of the special aroma of that plant. Technically, what is that smell? Well, it is essential oils that give flowers, fruits and herbs their distinct aromas.
The oils are derived from various parts of the plant. Some come from seeds, bark, root, leaves, peel, flowers, wood, balsam or resin. Also, some plants produce numerous oils, such as one from the flower and another from the leaves. Different oils from different parts of the plant may yield different results.
Essential Oils have been used for thousands of years for bathing, healing and perfumes.
How do Essential Oils Work? They can be used in numerous ways to treat skin complaints and conditions, once absorbed into the bloodstream they can be beneficial to the circulatory system and inhalation is an effective way to treat nose, throat and lung ailments and they may be applied externally for stomach and digestive complaints.

Nervous System: Some oils are known to have a balancing or normalizing effect on the systems of the body. Some are relaxing, uplifting, or reviving. Some work more on an emotional level as others on a physiological level.

For this reason the price is as much as $1300.00 per oz for the pure oil. To keep our costs low we use a high quality fragrance oil.
Vanilla - **Aroma:: Warm Vanilla** Cosmetic Grade Fragrance Oil
After a few years of reduced harvests, the price of Vanilla Essential Oil has sky-rocketed, and is now comparable to the precious oils such as Rose.
